Peeru Gunto is an original adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt,

but in this play Norway is changed to Shogun Japan and the end of the world is the American West.

Inspired by Japanese theatrical conventions of Kabuki, Noh, and Kyogen.
